8 International Congress for farriers and vets
Blacksmith snc and Mustad Hoofcare are proud to announce the 8th International Farriery and Podology Conference. The
event will take place at the Hotel “Le Conchiglie”, a convenient location between Rimini and Riccione, renowned Adriatic seaside resorts, cradles of Italian cuisine and entertainment. Congress Proceedings: The conference will begin on Friday afternoon and finish on Sunday morning. A number of speakers will take the floor: Jim Blurton, Hans Castelijns, Chad Chance, Nathalie C. Denoix, Scott Morrison, Steve O’Grady, Francesc Franquesa Padròs, Meike Van Heel, Ulrich Wenger. As in previous conferences, the theoretical presentations will be accompanied by technicalpractical showcasing in order to dispel any possible doubt! Market place: as usual, a spacious hall will be made available for this purpose, giving participants an opportunity to see the products and innovations displayed by several manufacturers in the sector. Farriery competition: the traditional shoeing competition will start on Friday morning and the final round is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. This year a new pattern will be followed, involving not only the contestants’ forging skills but also their ability to solve and apply the best possible solution to the cases at hand… a new exciting mix of technique and dexterity! After dinner there will be many entertainment opportunities, while on Saturday evening a social dinner will be arranged.
